Ceramics seminar for project-related work
Modeling and turning on the potter’s wheel
Duration: 8 hours in 2 days:
Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and
Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m
Participants: 4 to 8 people
No previous knowledge is required.
Price: 240 euros plus material costs based on consumption and burning costs for 1 fire on site in cash.
Participants in the current weekly courses receive a 16 euro discount.
– On the first day in 5 hours we let the works be freely modeled or created on the turntable.
– The second day is intended for completing the works, turning, painting, decorating with engobe (slip) in 3 hours.
– The works are then burned and collected.
Modeling with expert support in implementing your own ideas and forms.
Understanding of free modeling with clay and the various construction techniques.
Development of hand skills and three-dimensional imagination in spatial thinking.
Gain new experiences, switch off from everyday life and re-center yourself in the design process.
We will work together to develop a schedule for your project and implement it under guidance. Or you can try out some construction, modeling and decorating techniques using selected vessel shapes.
Turning on the potter’s wheel
Experience ‘flow’ – this wonderful feeling of being at one with the material and the growth movement on the potter’s wheel.
Try out pottery crafts, find inner balance while making pottery, as working with clay allows you to find inner peace and center yourself. Once you have found this center, the rotation of the sound on the disk becomes easier and easier.
